Joseph Timko
Board Chair
Joe Timko brings extensive experience in executive leadership, strategic consulting, and academia to Navicore Solutions as the Board Chair. His career has primarily focused on B2B technology, software, and consulting. Joe serves on the boards of private, high-tech firms, including PlanetiQ, a weather satellite company, and VUV Analytics, a gas chromatography company.
In addition to his board work, Joe is active in academics. He holds positions as an Executive in Residence and Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School, where he teaches courses on decision making and consulting, earning the 2022 Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence.
Previously, Joe served as a Partner at McKinsey & Company in the Tech, Media, and Telecom practice. His consulting work concentrated on telecom communications equipment and services, IT software and services, industrial controls, and chemicals. He also held roles as Chief Strategy Officer for ADP (human resources and payroll) and Pitney Bowes (shipping and logistics), where he also served as Chief Technology Officer. In these roles, Joe led strategic discussions with boards and was responsible for product design, delivery, and intellectual property development. He began his career at Bell Laboratories, focusing on software development and product management for high-availability, embedded data transport systems.
Joe holds an MBA from The Wharton School as a Palmer Scholar, a Master of Science degree from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science Summa Cum Laude from Virginia Tech, both in computer and electrical engineering.
